Marcin Masecki, 1982, pianist, composer, graduate of Berklee College of Music, active member of the Warsaw music scene. Has worked/works with ParisTetris, Pink Freud, Tomasz Stańko, Niewinni Czarodzieje, Waglewski Fisz Emade, TAQ, Ziv Ravitz, Michał Urbaniak and Tomasz Pokrzewiński among others. Winner of many prizes, among them First Prize at the Moscow International Jazz Piano Competition of 2005 and the Grand Prix and Prize for Best Soloist at Jazz Hoeilaart"98 in Brussels.
In 2006 Masecki joined the independent label Lado ABC which focuses on Warsaw's alternative music scene. He has released his last 5 albums under Lado ABC. Currently he is also the director of the first edition of WOR (Warsaw Orchestra of Recreation) which opened this year's Malta Festival in Poznan.
His parallel passion is classical music which he regularly performs in venues not usually associated with classical music culture. His main focus being 18th century music he is preparing a  recording of Bach's Art of the Fuge, to be released this autumn.

Masecki lives in Warsaw and Buenos Aires.
